I went to Avebury today which is a village with Manor house and stone circle similar to Stone Henge. Unlike Stone Henge, however, you can get up close and touch the stones. It was a long drive for me to get there, so I started off at the National Trust cafe and had a sandwhich and a scone.

After that, I went for a walk and wondered around all the stones.

After this I went to the Alexander Keiller Museum which is about the history of Avbury Henge and how the archeology works took place. Finally, I went to Avebury Manor itself. Unfortunately, when I went you could not go inside the house, so the formal gardens and grounds had to suffice.
